Finding Sin In God's House

Sin is a wretched evil. But sin in the church; far more wretched still.
The church is God's house, his people, his temple. His chosen race and ransomed bride. He has paid for her with his blood, cherished her among many, and associated his own name with her glorious identity. To find blatant sin here then, is a great misery and woe to the redeemed heart aware of God's mercy.

Listen as we look to the example of Ezra, a man broken and distraught over hidden rebellion in God's house. Finding rampant law-breaking where there should be commitment, he is gripped by deep agony of soul. He we find an example instructive for us for considering sin in our members, and what might be the response.
