Did you know we are all called unto ministry? Not just the pastor, but all members of the household of God are given the work (Eph 4:12). Granted, this might look different depending on the office in the church, but leader or layperson, ours is the task of ministry, or service to Gods people and in his worship. How are you serving today?
Here we consider Ezra’s call for more ministers to be sent for the temple of God. There were priests, but no general Levitical laborers to help with the work. From this we consider the great need of servants in God’s house and how we can grow as those given such a role.
