If You Build It, They Will Come

Persecution is the natural result of seeking to build the kingdom. If you identify with Jesus Christ, and seek to be faithful in his commission, you will certainly be opposed. A world under the dominion of sin does not want to hear of their accountability to God, nor do its sinful rulers wish to submit. When the gospel goes forth they will rise up to challenge it, and do whatever they can to keep its power at bay. 

Listen this week as we examine the topic of persecution from the Samaritan opposition to the temples’ construction. Here we will be prepared for the reality of adversaries in our efforts, but encouraged in the hope that comes with the gospel.
