No record in Scripture is insignificant. Genealogy or list, everything is profitable for us as Christians. And certainly the list of returned exiles in Ezra chapter 2, no less. A catalogue of all those Jews returning from Babylon, this passage contains great truths worthy of our exploration: those that encourage us in our kingdom labors, exhort us in our worship, and encourage us in the preserving grace of God.
