We end our expository series today in the gospel of Mark with an examination of the resurrection of Christ. Here, we come to the glorious conclusion of Jesus' ministry: his victory over the grave. Yet, his victory uniquely described. In what almost seems anticlimactic, this great work of God is quickly described, and fearfully responded to.
In such a peculiar coverage of this familiar story, we don't want to miss the special lessons. Imbedded in Mark's coverage of the resurrection are powerful instructions about our constitution as God's people, and his power in the kingdom's advancement.
