This week we examine what is commonly least examined in the passion narrative: Christ's burial. Jesus' actual funeral, as it were, having taken on flesh and the consequences of our sin. It is utterly astonishing to think sinless God would endure death, and be laid down to rest in a tomb like so many others. Yet, we know he would not stay there.
