The world seems to be unravelling at the seams. Unstable economics, wars and clashes, natural disasters, rampant immorality; things are pretty bad today. How are we to think about all this? Is it the end? Should we stockpile food, tune in to the latest end times prophecy, bury gold in our backyard?
In the first sermon on the Olivet discourse, we look at Jesus' powerful command to disciples in difficult times. Words that still the speculation by proving there is little to be concerned with. It is not the end. The very things that seem to signal them, are a sign that it has not come. And so, "do not be alarmed." Keep your cool, don't lose your minds, there is nothing to fear.
