For those lost and ruined by the fall, there is great hope in the Father's love. When we have given ourselves unto sin and it has taken all from us, we are not too far from his sweet embrace. Our God, abundant in mercy and steadfast love is compassionate to the sinful soul; tender to the unworthy. All who come to him will find joyful welcome and unconditional pardon.
This week we start a short topical series through the parables of Jesus with one of the most famous of all: The Prodigal Son. That incredible story of our Lord meant to depict the love of God for the sinner, and his acceptance of all those who come to him in Christ.
