Love. One of the chief commandments given to the church. Sadly, misunderstood and often misinterpreted in our day, but nonetheless critically important. Christ commands it of his disciples, he tells them it will be the telling mark of their belonging to him, he makes it the primary call of his people's shepherds. To love, and to love as he has shown.
